The Hospitality We’re Preparing at Casa Cinque
A room prepared with care. A shared dish. A glass of Greek wine and time to stay a little longer. These are the everyday gestures behind the hospitality we’re preparing at Casa Cinque, our family home near Lamia in Central Greece.
Casa Cinque is currently in preparation, with an opening planned between October and December 2027.
A welcome begins before you arrive
Straightening the bed, arranging the pillows and looking over a room before someone arrives: hospitality begins with small acts of care. The photograph captures one of those moments as we prepare Casa Cinque.
We want that attention to continue throughout a visit, from the welcome at the door to the food we share and the conversations around the table. Preparing the house means thinking about how guests will feel while spending time here.
The family behind the welcome
At Cinque, Greek wine has always given us a reason to start a conversation. A question about a grape variety brings a region into the discussion; a small plate introduces another part of Greece.
Greg, Evangelia and Nikitas bring that same approach to Casa Cinque. Our experience in hospitality, preparing food and introducing guests to Greek wine shapes the home we are getting ready to share.
Here, we are planning private experiences with the time to cook, taste, ask questions and enjoy one another’s company.
A table to gather around
The table remains at the heart of the house. Bread, extra virgin olive oil, Greek cheese and seasonal food will give us opportunities to talk about what we eat and where it comes from.
Our planned Cook With Us experience grows from the pleasure of preparing a meal together. Following the cooking, asking a question and sitting down to enjoy what has been made are all part of the visit.
We are preparing a setting where sharing a meal can become a lasting memory of the people around it.
Greek wine, with room for curiosity
Wine will have a natural place at that table. Through our planned Greek meals and wine pairings, we want to help guests explore unfamiliar varieties and discover combinations they enjoy.
You will be welcome to ask your first question about Greek wine or bring an interest you have been developing for years. The conversation can begin wherever you are.
A home in Central Greece
The house is part of a wider story. Our earlier article, The Land Around Casa Cinque, introduces the landscape and food culture surrounding us.
As we prepare the rooms and the experiences, we want to keep that connection between the home, its people and its place present in the welcome.
Preparing for October–December 2027
Casa Cinque is not yet open. Our planned opening period is October–December 2027, and we will share more of the house and the preparations as the project develops.
For now, we are taking care of the details: a room made ready, a table imagined, an experience thoughtfully prepared. Each one brings us closer to welcoming you.
